Dear Parents and Students,
It's back to school and back to another creative semester of ART at Heidi's Art School. The Fall 2010 schedule is posted on the website along with all the supply lists for your convenience. And it's easy to enroll. Simply fill out the enrollment form and send to the address provided.
The great news is that all our art classes start after Labor Day to give you time to acclimate to a new school year. Some classes meet weekly, and others meet bi-monthly to accomadate any schedule as well as private lessons to hone in on skill, technique and eye development. We offer Mommy & Me Art for the tiniest of artists as well as classes for all ages including adults in drawing, painting, and a mix of media.
Each student is valued as a unique artist, gifted with his/her own creative wellspring. I am honored to be their teacher, pulling on their gift and showing them how to use their artistic tools.
Art contests are coming up! Many of you have entered the Tulsa State Fair with your summer art work. I can't wait to see them! Others are preparing for the Family Children Services Annual Poster Contest in October. Still others, are coming to art class to sharpen their drawing/artistic ability in order to help them with local school assignments, to become better students, relieve stress, or cope with loss. ALL COME to have FUN and GROW into stronger artists!
